Profile Born in Aldershot, Alan fulfilled his boyhood dream of becoming a professional footballer during the 1980's. He played 250 league matches before a knee injury tragically ended his career aged 25 at Middlesborough. Faith began aged 19 when another player introduced him to Jesus and a passion for sharing Jesus blossomed. After injury God opened the door for Alan to train for the ordained ministry and is now a Vicar in North London. Alan has been Chaplain to Leyton Orient since 1994, committed to growing local churches for over twenty years, and particularly gifted of God to reach men and churches with the awesome good news of Jesus. Married to Jill with three children.
